China Airlines has announced the launch of a new daily flight service connecting Taichung and Okinawa. This initiative expands the airline’s operations in Japan, increasing the total number of weekly round-trip flights between Taiwan and Japan to over 170. The newly introduced route is served by an Airbus A321neo, with flight CI310 taking off from Taichung at 10:00 a.m. and landing in Okinawa at 12:40 p.m. The return flight, CI311, departs Okinawa at 1:40 p.m. and arrives back in Taichung at 2:10 p.m.

In an effort to further enhance its service offerings, China Airlines is set to introduce a second daily flight on August 13. This additional service, flight CI312, will leave Taichung at 3:20 p.m. and reach Okinawa by 6:00 p.m. The corresponding return flight, CI313, will take off from Okinawa at 7:00 p.m. and touch down in Taichung at 7:30 p.m.

With these new additions, China Airlines will operate approximately 30 round-trip flights to Okinawa each week, when combined with the existing routes from Taipei and Kaohsiung. This expansion marks a significant step in boosting connectivity between Taiwan and Japan, offering increased travel options for both business and leisure travelers.

The introduction of these services highlights China Airlines’ commitment to strengthening its presence in the Japanese market. By enhancing the frequency of flights to Okinawa, the airline aims to cater to the growing demand for travel between Taiwan and Japan, ensuring better accessibility and convenience for passengers.
